Sour Cream Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter, softened
    2 3/4 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    3 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. sour cream
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. cherries, cut up in small pieces
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating good after each addition.
    Sift dry ingredients 3 times and add alternately with sour cream to first mixture, beating until smooth.
    Add flavoring and fold in cherries.
    Pour in greased tube pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
