Chicken And Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. chicken meat (uncooked)
    2 1/2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 Tbsp. sherry
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 c. oil
    1 c. chopped onion
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/2 c. soup stock or water
    2 tomatoes, peeled and cubed
Preparation
    Cut
    chicken
    in 1-inch pieces.
    Dredge it with mixture of 1 tablespoon soy sauce, sherry and 1 tablespoon cornstarch. Heat pan.
    Add
    oil.
    Saute
    dredged chicken until tender. Add onions and
    fry
    a
    few
    seconds.
    Drain
    chicken
    and
    onion. Preheat pan
    and add 2 tablespoons of the drained oil, remaining
    1 tablespoon cornstarch, remaining 1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce, salt, sugar and soup stock.
    Boil a few seconds. To the boiling sauce,
    add chicken, onions and tomatoes.
    Heat thoroughly and serve
    hot.
    May be made in advance to the point of adding the chicken, onions and tomatoes.
