Charles' Lemon Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter
    1/2 c. Crisco
    3 c. sugar
    6 large eggs
    2 c. plain flour, do not sift, fluff
    1 c. sweet milk
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 tsp. lemon flavoring
    1 tsp. yellow food coloring
Preparation
    Cream butter, Crisco and sugar.
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt once.
    Add a little flour to mixture and, on low speed, mix well.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Add flour and milk alternately ending with flour (important).
    Add flavorings.
    Bake in tube or Bundt pan, greased and floured well.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
