Cherry Crunch Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. cherry pie filling
    1 can crushed pineapple (with juice)
    1 box white cake mix
    1 1/2 sticks margarine
    1 c. nuts
    Cool Whip (optional)
Preparation
    Spread cherry pie filling over the bottom of an oblong greased baking dish.
    Spread a can of crushed pineapple over cherry filling.
    Pour dry cake mix over mixture.
    Sprinkle nuts over top. Melt butter or margarine and pour over top.
    Cover all the mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 45 minutes.
    Serve with Cool Whip or ice cream.
