Chicken And Mushrooms - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. chicken
    1 lb. sliced mushrooms
    2 cloves chopped garlic
    1 sliced onion
    6 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. sherry
    1/4 tsp. crushed basil
    1/2 tsp. crushed tarragon
    1 dash salt
    1 dash pepper
Preparation
    Cut chicken into serving pieces.
    Wash and pat dry.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    In skillet, heat butter (substitute margarine for low cholesterol), garlic and 2/3 of the oil.
    Brown chicken on both sides (about 10 minutes).
    Lower heat, add herbs and continue cooking 25 minutes.
