German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. hot diced potatoes
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. flour
    2 Tbsp. fat
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/3 c. vinegar
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2/3 c. water
    8 strips bacon, chopped
Preparation
    Fry bacon.
    Drain off all but 2 tablespoons of fat.
    Fry chopped onion in hot fat until light brown.
    Add flour and blend, then add sugar, salt, vinegar, water, celery and parsley.
    Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
    Pour dressing over the diced potatoes.
    Sprinkle with pepper.
