Cinnamon Flop Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. butter
    2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 c. milk
    2 tsp. baking powder
    brown sugar
    cinnamon
    lumps of butter
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar; add milk and dry ingredients alternately.
    Grease and flour 8-inch square pan.
    Put in batter and dust top with flour and spread plenty of brown sugar and cinnamon over top.
    Punch holes in batter and put lumps of butter in holes.
    Bake in moderate oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
    Put waxed paper over top when out of oven to keep sugar from getting hard.
