Southwestern Red Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 c. chopped onion
    2 crushed garlic cloves
    1 tsp. cumin
    1 (15 oz.) can pinto beans
    1 (15 oz.) can red kidney beans
    1/4 c. chili powder
    2 tsp. salt
    3 1/2 c. crushed tomatoes
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Brown ground beef with onion and garlic in large saucepan. Drain off excess fat.
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Heat to boiling. Reduce heat; boil gently, uncovered, 30 minutes.
    Stir occasionally.
