Easy Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. whole cucumbers
    4 Tbsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. spice
    white vinegar
    5 lb. sugar
Preparation
    Put cucumbers in gallon jar or churn.
    Add salt and spices. Fill with white vinegar; let stand 6 weeks.
    Take out and drain. Slice cucumbers.
    Add sugar; stir easy.
    Let stand 2 more weeks, then seal in jars.
