Oat Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 c. oats
1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1 stick butter or margarine
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs

Preparation

Mix oats, butter, and boiling water together.
Let cool a little.
Sift dry ingredients together and add to oat mixture. Add eggs and vanilla.
