Cherry Divinity - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    3/4 c. white Karo syrup
    3/4 c. water
    2 egg whites
    3 1/2 Tbsp. cherry Jell-O
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 jar maraschino cherries, chopped and drained
Preparation
    Bring sugar, syrup and water to the hard boil stage.
    Beat egg whites; add cherry Jell-O, one spoon at a time and beat until soft peaks form.
    When syrup is done, pour over egg whites and blend. Add nuts and cherries.
    Drop on wax paper.
