Strawberry Salad Ring - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. sour cream
    4 c. strawberries
    1 banana, mashed
    1 family size pkg. strawberry Jell-O
    1 envelope unflavored gelatin
    1 small can crushed pineapple
Preparation
    Drain pineapple and save juice. Add enough water to juice to make 4 cups. Boil 2 cups of juice and pour into Jell-O mix. Dissolve Jell-O and add remaining juice. Melt gelatin in 1/4 to 1/2 cup warm water. Add to Jell-O. Add strawberries and pineapple. Pour half of mixture into ring mold. Refrigerate until jelled. Remove and spread sour cream on top. Chill. Add remaining Jell-O mixture and refrigerate. Serves well with chicken or turkey.
