Red Sea Clam Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 slices bacon, diced
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes
    1 c. water
    1 (12 oz.) can V-8 juice
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 c. large shell macaroni
    2 (6 1/2 oz. each) cans chopped clams
    1/4 c. minced parsley
Preparation
    Saute bacon for 5 minutes.
    Add onion, celery and garlic. Cook until bacon is brown.
    Pour off most of the excess fat.
    Add tomatoes, V-8, salt and pepper. Bring to boil.
    Stir in shell macaroni.
    Cover and cook 12 minutes, stirring once.
    Add clams and parsley.
    Simmer 5 minutes.
    Serves 6.
