1 (4 to 5 lb.) leg of lamb
1 (16 oz.) can purple plums
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. dried basil leaves, crushed
1 clove garlic, crushed
Preparation

Place lamb fat side up on rack in shallow roasting pan. Season with salt and pepper.
Roast at 325\u00b0 until meat thermometer reaches 175\u00b0 to 180\u00b0, about 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
