Black-Eyed Skillet Dinner - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 c. chopped green pepper
    1 (16 oz.) can drained black-eyed peas
    1 (16 oz.) can whole tomatoes, undrained, coarsely chopped
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Cook ground beef, onion and green pepper in skillet over medium heat until beef is brown.
    Stir to crumble beef; drain. Add remaining ingredients.
    Bring to boil; reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes, stirring often.
    If more liquid is needed, add tomato juice.
