Coconut Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    3/4 c. evaporated milk
    3 eggs, well beaten
    3/4 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
    1 c. coconut
    1 baked pie crust
Preparation
    Mix sugar and cornstarch together.
    Add just enough milk to make a paste.
    Add eggs and mix well.
    Add balance of milk, a little at a time until blended well.
    Cook on medium heat until mixture is thick.
    Remove from heat and add coconut and flavoring and stir.
    Let cool and pour into baked pie crust and top with Cool Whip.
    If mixture is too thick, you can add a little milk before you place in crust.
