Meringue For Pies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 egg whites
    dash of cream of tartar
    2/3 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Add cream of tartar to egg whites.
    Beat at high speed until peaks form.
    Add sugar gradually, beating continuously.
    When stiff peaks form, add vanilla.
    Spread over pies or banana pudding and bake at 425\u00b0 until brown (approximately 5 to 6 minutes).
