Old-Fashioned Egg Custard - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
4 eggs, slightly beaten
2 Tbsp. flour
1 c. milk
1 Tbsp. melted butter or margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
4 egg whites
Preparation

Mix sugar, egg yolks, flour, milk, butter and vanilla.
Pour into unbaked pie crust and bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
Reduce heat to 325\u00b0 and bake about 25 minutes or until firm.
Beat egg whites and put on top.
Brown on top.
Makes 1 pie.
