Quick Chili With Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    nonstick spray coating
    3/4 lb. ground turkey
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 (29 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
    1 (16 oz.) can red kidney beans, drained
    1 (12 oz.) can tomato juice
    1/2 c. water
    1 Tbsp. dried minced onion
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. ground cumin
    1/2 tsp. dried oregano, crushed
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    1 c. quick cooking rice
    sliced green onion (optional)
Preparation
    Spray a 12-inch skillet with nonstick spray coating.
    Add turkey; cook until no longer pink.
    Drain off fat.
    Stir in chili powder; cook 1 minute.
    Stir in undrained tomatoes, beans, tomato juice, water, dried onion, salt, cumin, oregano, pepper, garlic powder and rice.
    Bring to boiling; reduce heat.
    Cover and simmer for 5 minutes, or until rice is tender.
    Garnish with sliced green onion, if desired.
