Waldorf Crown Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin
    2 c. boiling water
    1 1/2 c. cold water
    1 c. cubed apples
    1/2 c. thinly sliced celery
    1/4 c. chopped nuts
    lettuce
    1 c. sour cream
    1/2 c. Miracle Whip salad dressing
    1 1/2 c. miniature marshmallows
Preparation
    Dissolve strawberry gelatin in boiling water; stir in cold water.
    Chill until thickened.
    Fold in apples, celery and nuts. Pour into 5-cup ring mold.
    Chill until firm.
    Unmold; surround with lettuce.
    Combine sour cream and Miracle Whip salad dressing. Fold miniature marshmallows into sour cream.
    Fill center of mold with mixture.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
