Mock Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. oats
    3/4 c. dark Karo syrup
    1/4 lb. oleo
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. coconut
    2 eggs
    pecans (optional)
Preparation
    Beat eggs.
    Add sugar and oleo.
    Mix well.
    Add rest of ingredients.
    Pour into unbaked pie shell.
    Garnish with pecans (optional).
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Reduce to 325\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
