English Pea Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    lettuce
    onion
    2/3 c. mayonnaise, mixed with 1/3 c. sour cream
    grated Cheddar cheese
    bacon bits
    canned English peas, drained
Preparation
    Make in large bowl.
    Layer lettuce and layer of each, thinly sliced onion, mayonnaise, sour cream, bacon bits or crumbled bacon and layer of peas.
    Make as many layers as you want or until your bowl is filled.
    Top layer should be mayonnaise and sour cream. Cover.
    Refrigerate until ready to serve.
    Mix and serve.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
