Corn And Okra Creole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. minced green pepper
    1/2 c. minced scallions
    1/4 c. margarine
    1 c. corn kernels
    1 c. sliced okra
    3 tomatoes, peeled and chopped
    1 tsp. tomato paste
    1/4 tsp. thyme
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Saute green pepper and scallions in margarine for 5 minutes. Add corn and okra.
    Cook over moderate heat for 10 minutes, stirring.
    Add tomatoes, tomato paste, thyme, salt and pepper. Simmer, covered, stirring occasionally, for 20 minutes.
