Campfire Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb bacon
    2 lb. potato diced
    1 med onion diced
    1 tsp salt divided
    1/2 tsp pepper divided
    12 large eggs
    1 1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
    salsa or ketchup
Preparation
    Cook bacon in a large skillet until crisp; remove bacon and drain on paper towel reserving 2 tbsp drippings in skillet. Crumble bacon and set aside.
