Christmas Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. raw cranberries
    1 1/2 c. water
    2 c. sugar
    1 large pkg. cherry jello
    1 small can crushed pineapple
    1 tart apple, peeled and finely chopped
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Add water and sugar to cranberries and simmer 10 minutes.
    Add can of pineapple, nuts, jello and apple.
    Pour into mold or Pyrex dish.
    Refrigerate overnight.
