Danish Meat Loaf(Serves 8) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. top round, ground twice
    1 lb. veal, ground twice
    1/2 lb. pork, ground twice
    1 c. breadcrumbs (fresh), soaked in 1 1/2 c. milk
    2 eggs
    1 medium onion, grated
    1 heaping Tbsp. flour
    salt
    pepper, freshly ground
    3 strips bacon
    tomato juice or chicken broth
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Mix meat, soaked bread crumbs, eggs, onion and flour together with the hand.
    Beat with a wooden spoon until mixture appears light and frothy.
    Add salt and pepper to taste. Form a loaf of the mixture in a baking dish.
    Put the bacon on top and bake for about 1 1/2 hours.
    Baste several times during baking with the juice or stock.
    Slice thinly when cool.
