Banana Cream Pie - cooking recipe

9-inch pie shell
4 ripe bananas
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. flour
1 1/2 c. milk
Preparation

Mix the sugar, salt and flour. Gradually add 1 1/2 cups milk gradually; cook until thick, stirring constantly. Continue to cook for 3 minutes. Add some of the mixture to 1 slightly beaten egg yolk while stirring. Add hot mixture and cook for 1 minute. Add 1 tablespoon butter and 1/4 teaspoon vanilla and cool. Slice bananas into baked shell and pour pudding over them.
