Fig Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar (if raw figs)
    3 eggs
    1 c. salad oil
    1 tsp. baking soda in 1 c. boiling water
    3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 c. raw figs or 1 pt. fig preserves
Preparation
    Mix ingredients in order given and put in well-greased pan (I use a Bundt or tube pan).
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
