Plantation Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. Crisco
2 c. sugar
1 large lemon, grated
5 whole eggs
2 c. flour

Preparation

Cream shortening thoroughly.
Add sugar and cream again.
Add eggs, lemon and flour; beat.
Bake at 250\u00b0 for 1 hour, or until done.
