Cole Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 lb. shredded cabbage
    2 Tbsp. granulated sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    1 1/2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
Preparation
    Toss together cabbage, sugar and salt.\tLet
    stand 5 to 10 minutes to allow cabbage to bleed.\tDon't
    drain off juice. While cabbage
    is bleeding, combine mayonnaise
    and
    vinegar. Mix
    well. Fold
    this thoroughly into
    cabbage.
    Refrigerate until needed. Serves 4 to 5.
    You may add a
    small
    amount of onion to this if desired.
