Buttermilk Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 c. shortening
    4 eggs
    2 tsp. lemon juice
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    In
    a
    large
    mixing bowl combine dry ingredients.
    Add milk and
    shortening
    and
    beat 2 minutes.
    Add eggs one at a time; add
    flavoring
    and
    beat until thoroughly mixed.
    Pour into
    a greased
    and
    floured tube pan and bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until done.
