Mama'S Frozen Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. milk, scalded
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. flour
pinch of salt
2 eggs, well beaten
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. vanilla wafers, crushed
1 small jar maraschino cherries, drained and diced
1 c. pecans
1 c. whipped cream, beaten until peaks form

Preparation

Combine sugar, flour and salt.
Add to scalded milk.
Cook over boiling water until smooth, stirring constantly.
Add eggs and cook 2 more minutes.
Add vanilla, cookies, cherries and nuts. Fold in whipped cream.
Freeze in an oblong pan.
