Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 slices buttered bread
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. milk
Preparation
    Cut buttered bread into finger width pieces or cubes.
    Arrange in layers in buttered baking dish (for variation, sprinkle each layer with slices Brazil nuts or raisins and cinnamon).
    Beat eggs slightly; add sugar, salt, vanilla and milk.
    Mix well and pour over bread.
    Bake in slow oven (325\u00b0) for 1 hour.
    Serves 6.
