German Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 baking apples
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    5 Tbsp. sugar
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. vegetable oil
    1/3 c. orange juice
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 1/2 c. 10x sugar
    1 to 2 Tbsp. water
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2 Tbsp. soft butter or margarine
Preparation
    Grease and flour 10-inch Bundt pan.
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0. Slice apples thin and toss with 5 tablespoons sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon.
    Set aside.
    Mix together flour, sugar, salt, eggs, oil, vanilla, orange juice, baking powder and soda.
    Blend on low for 1 minute, then at medium beat for 3 minutes.
