Mary'S Glorious Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    2 sticks butter
    6 large eggs or 8 small
    3 c. plain flour
    1/2 pt. whipping cream
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. rum flavoring (optional)
Preparation
    Mix butter and sugar. Add eggs, flour, whipping cream and flavorings.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 10 minutes. Frost, if desired.
