Chicken In White Wine - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 or 3 deboned chicken breasts
    3 carrots, cut up
    3/4 c. chopped onion
    4 stalks celery, cut up
    1/2 to 1 lb. sliced mushrooms
    salt and pepper
    garlic salt
    5 Tbsp. oleo
Preparation
    Brown chicken in oleo;
    remove chicken from pan and put in chopped onions, carrots
    and
    celery.
    Brown lightly.
    In a large skillet or pot,
    combine
    chicken and vegetables.
    Add 1 to 1 1/2 cups of water;
    pour
    in wine.
    Cook, covered, at low temperature for 30 minutes.
    Add
    mushrooms
    and simmer for 25 minutes.
    (If a lot of liquid
    is
    left
    in
    pot, add 2 tablespoons of cornstarch, stirring constantly.) Serve over rice.
