Turkey Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 to 3 c. meat, flaked
1 medium onion, chopped fine
1 c. diced celery
4 eggs
8 slices stale white bread, crusts removed
grated cheese to cover (Parmesan or sharp Cheddar)
1/2 c. Miracle Whip
1 medium green pepper, chopped fine
3 c. milk
1 can mushroom soup
Preparation

Cube bread and place half of it in a well buttered 9 x 12-inch baking dish.
In a separate bowl, mix meat, Miracle Whip, celery, onion and pepper. Spread mixture over bread and put rest of bread on top.
Beat eggs slightly and add milk, salt and pepper to taste.
Pour over mixture. Cover with foil and place in refrigerator several hours or overnight.
Take foil off and bake in a 325\u00b0 oven for 15 minutes. Remove foil and spread mushroom soup over the top, then grated cheese.
Bake, uncovered, at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Serves 6 to 8.
