Scalloped Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. oleo or butter
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1/3 c. brown sugar
    2 slices dry bread, cubed
    1 qt. tomatoes
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Saute onion in oleo, add brown sugar and bread and mix with tomatoes.
    Add salt and pepper.
    Bake 350\u00b0
    for l hour.
