Mom'S Caramel Cake Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. margarine
    1/4 c. Crisco
    1 c. light brown sugar
    1 c. white sugar
    7 Tbsp. Carnation milk
    1 Tbsp. white Karo syrup
    1 tsp. vanilla
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Cook together all ingredients except margarine and cook to soft ball stage.
    Do not
    beat until cooled.
    Add margarine while cooling.
    If frosting hardens
    too quickly, add a little more milk.
