Spicy Green Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 tsp. margarine
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1/4 tsp. dill weed
    1/8 tsp. hot pepper flakes
    1/8 tsp. salt
    12 oz. beer
    1 lb. green beans, cut into 2-inch lengths
    1/2 c. chopped parsley
Preparation
    Saute the onion in the margarine for about 5 minutes.
    Add the herbs, spices and beer.
    Bring to a boil and boil briskly for 3 minutes.
    Add the beans and cook, uncovered, for about 15 to 20 minutes or until the liquid has almost evaporated.
    Sprinkle with parsley and serve.
