Spanish Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 or 8 slices bacon
    1/4 c. chopped green pepper
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/4 c. instant rice, uncooked
    3 c. canned tomatoes (28 oz. crushed tomatoes equals 3 c.)
    2 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Preparation
    Fry bacon until crisp and crumble in small pieces.
    Add green pepper and celery to bacon drippings; saute.
    Combine in baking dish the remaining ingredients.
    Cheese is optional (American or Cheddar) sprinkled over top (grated cheese, 1 cup or more).
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Makes 6 servings.
