Oriental Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. frying chicken, cut
    1 c. chicken broth or bouillon
    3/4 c. soy sauce
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    2 medium onions, cut in wedges
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch, mixed with 2 Tbsp. white sugar and 4 Tbsp. water
    2 green peppers, chopped
    1 c. celery, chopped
    1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges (undrained)
Preparation
    Fry the chicken in oil.
    Use salt and pepper to season.
    Brown the chicken, then add broth, soy sauce and brown sugar.
    Cover and simmer over low heat 35 to 40 minutes.
    Remove chicken and add cornstarch, sugar and cold water mixture to pan; stir until thick. Return chicken to pan.
    Add green peppers, celery, onions and mandarin oranges, about 10 minutes before serving.
    This is especially good over rice or Chinese noodles.
