Grandma'S Cinnamon Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. mashed potatoes
    1/2 c. potato water (save from cooking the peeled potatoes)
    3 c. sugar, divided
    1/2 oz. active dry yeast (2 packets)
    1 1/2 c. lukewarm water
    4 eggs
    3 sticks butter, divided (3/4 lb.)
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/4 tsp. salt
    10 c. flour or more!
    2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    The night before, dissolve the yeast in the warm water. Add 1 cup sugar and the potato water to the mashed potatoes and mix. When the yeast water is cold, add it to the potato mixture and let it set overnight.
