Pumpkin Drop Cookies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 1/2 c. white sugar
3 c. or 1 lb. can pumpkin
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. shortening
3 tsp. vanilla
7 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
4 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp. ginger
1 1/2 tsp. ground cloves
9 tsp. baking powder
2 1/4 tsp. baking soda
2 1/4 c. raisins or nuts
Preparation

Cream together the sugar, pumpkin, eggs, shortening and vanilla.
Set aside.
Sift together the next 7 ingredients.
Add the raisins or nuts.
Gradually add this to the creamed mixture. Drop by spoonful onto cookie sheet.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
Makes 14 dozen.
