Fettuccini Alfredo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. fettuccini
    3/4 c. butter
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    2 c. whipping cream
    3/4 c. Parmesan cheese
    1/4 c. sour cream
Preparation
    Cook noodles in large Dutch oven with no salt; drain. Melt butter in a saucepan and stir in garlic powder; add to the noodles. Gradually add the whipping cream, 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese and the sour cream. Cook on low until heated through. Pour into serving dish and sprinkle with remaining Parmesan cheese. Serves 6 to 8.
