Microwave English Toffee - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 1/3 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. water
    1 Tbsp. light corn syrup
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. chocolate chips
    1/3 c. nuts, chopped
    1/2 c. chocolate chips
    1/3 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation
    Combine butter, sugar, water and corn syrup.
    Microwave uncovered High power.
    Cook 3 minutes, then stir.
    Cook 1 minute, then stir.
    Cook 4 minutes, then stir and cook 1 minute and stir. Cook up to 1 minute more.
    Stir.
    Add vanilla and pour onto ungreased cookie sheet or 9 x 12-inch pan.
    Sprinkle chocolate chips and spread evenly.
    Sprinkle with nuts.
    Refrigerate until cool.
    Turn over and repeat the chocolate chips and nuts again. Cool and break into pieces.
