Sour Cream Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter (2 sticks)
    6 eggs
    1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
    2 c. sifted Swans Down plain flour
    1/4 tsp. soda
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix soda with sour cream and allow to dissolve. Cream butter and sugar well. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each. Add flour and sour cream alternately. Pour into well-greased and floured tube pan. Set oven temperature at 300\u00b0. Place cake in COLD oven and allow to bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean when inserted in middle of cake.
