Spanish Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. Minute rice (uncooked)
    1 lb. bacon, cut in pieces
    1 qt. tomatoes
    1 medium size onion
    1 green pepper
    1/2 c. sugar (or more, according to taste)
Preparation
    Cook rice in 2 cups water. Fry bacon and drain off grease. Saute green pepper and onion in bacon grease. Combine all ingredients and bake at 350\u00b0to 375\u00b0 about 2 hours.
