Cheese Wafers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. margarine, softened
    1 lb. sharp cheese, grated fine
    1 lb. plain flour, sifted
    1 tsp. salt
    a little red pepper, sifted with flour
Preparation
    Cream margarine; add grated cheese.
    Mix in flour (with pepper).
    Chill slightly.
    Roll out on floured surface.
    Cut with small biscuit cutter.
    Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Place one half pecan on top of wafer.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 minutes.
