Fritter-Fried Okra - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/3 c. milk
    5 c. thinly sliced okra
    vegetable oil
Preparation
    Combine first 3 ingredients in a medium bowl.
    Combine eggs and milk; add to dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
    Stir in sliced okra.
    Carefully drop batter by tablespoonfuls into deep hot oil (375\u00b0); cook only a few at a time, turning once.
    Fry 2 to 3 minutes or until fritters are golden brown.
    Drain well on paper towels.
    Makes 3 dozen.
